Saxophone Sculpture

This is an impressively sculpted saxophone of reddish Yiftah marble and forged iron.

The saxophone and base are one solid piece of reddish Yiftah marble from the Upper Galilee region of Israel.  The marble has been carved and worked to create the saxophone, to which are fastened the keys and mouthpiece – crafted of forged iron.  Two forged iron hands are connected to the keys, playing the instrument with joy.

A gorgeous work of art, elegant and refined.

This series of musical works of art is one of my favorites. I truly love sculpting these pieces, due to their unique, delicate, meticulous, nature.

size: 50 cm width, 85 cm height.
