This work was crafted as a portion of the Seven Species project for Rosh Pina Community Center, and is located at the side of the Avenue, which was also sculpted by Hanoch.

The stand is crafted from one large river stone from the Upper Galilee of northern Israel, to which forged iron arms are shaped and connected to hold bicycles.

The large rock, which has spots of red from metal oxidization, was brought from Mt. Hermon, which is at the northern tip of Israel.

The rock was carved to serve as part of a sitting area that includes flowing water and a fish pond.

The Avenue is comprised of seven large sculptures, each of which comprises a large river stone, from which 2 ornamental forged iron rods emerge.  At the center of each iron rod is a wood panel on which is carved one of the seven species.

The river stones came from Mt. Hermon, and one can see beautiful veins of color in them.  The stones were carved and polished and are pleasant to the touch.

As part of this project, a number of additional sculptures were also carved and positioned around the area.

In the first portion at the left of the work is an iron French horn, which emits music that fills the other two portions of the sculpture.

The French horn and musical notes are crafted of forged iron and are inlaid with river stones from the Upper Galilee in Israel.  The French horn is connected to the human mouth, which is crafted of forged iron, and the hand playing the horn appears above the horn and moves the playing valves.

The work sits on a blue-green background, for a pleasant, soothing affect.  This piece is also available in other background colors.

This is a most original, fascinating sculpture.

This series of musical works of art is one of my favorites. I truly love sculpting these pieces, due to their unique, delicate, meticulous, nature.

Inspiration for this sculpture came from the song “A 60-yr-old Opens Her Eyes”, by the mythological musical group, Givatron.

The sculpture represents the song in both a lyrical and musical fashion – on the base of the sculpture is a treble clef, with forged iron strings emerging from the center and moving out to both sides.

On one side of the clef are the actual musical notes in the song, crafted of forged iron, and on the other side are the lyrics, also of forged iron.

This work is available both standing on the Jerusalem stone (as in the photo) or as a hanging sculpture.

A large menorah constructed for Mizpeh Nimrod in Rosh Pina, an observation point constructed in Nimrod’s memory.  The menorah was created to add splendor and beauty to the observation point, and to commemorate the memory of Nimrod, who fell while defending Israel.

The menorah is crafted from one large piece of Jerusalem stone whose center is hollowed, and around which the stone is roughly carved.  The iron arms of the menorah emerge from the bottom portion of the stone, rising upwards in the interior, hollow section of the stone, and bursting out through the top portion to create the extension of the menorah arms.

The menorah is designed in an antique style and crafted from forged iron rods that are welded to a large limestone rock from the Banias Plateau, in the Golan Heights.  The candlestick rods are beautifully ornamented, with wide iron depressions at the top that were specially designed to hold holiday candles.

This menorah was created to augment the décor of the ancient synagogue, and it stands at the entrance, for use during the Hanukkah holiday.

In the center of the menorah is a burning torch symbolizing the continuity of the State.  The menorah arms are of forged iron, and are topped by large river stones from the Upper Galilee in Israel, to serve as candle holders.

At the base of the sculpture, the iron arms are embedded in a large rock from Mt. Hermon, which is in the northern tip of Israel.

This menorah is located at Ma’aleh Yosef, which is in the Western Galilee.

The impressive, giant menorah is crafted of Jerusalem stone and forged iron, lending beauty and dignity to the location.  The menorah arms are forged iron, connected to a large base of Jerusalem stone that sits on another large piece of Jerusalem stone positioned behind the menorah.  A Magen David has been meticulously carved on the bottom portion of this stone.
