KATZRIN Hanukkah Menorah

During my visit to the synagogue in ancient Piki’in (Golan Heights), I saw a two-thousand-year-old menorah that looks something like this one.  It was from the Holy Temple Period and served as inspiration for this work.

The body of the menorah is carved into one large piece of Jerusalem stone.  On the stone rest black arms of iron that integrate with an interesting contrast with the white of the stone.
