Melody – Melodic Sculpture of Iron & River Stones

An iron and river stone sculpture simulating the sound of melodic music.

At the head of the sculpture is a treble clef and notes of forged iron, and they are ornamented with river stones from the Upper Galilee in Israel.  The small, white river stones stand out on the black iron background to provide further depth.

An interesting sculpture expressing the artist’s attempt to express in hard materials the experience of hearing music.

This series of musical works of art is one of my favorites. I truly love sculpting these pieces, due to their unique, delicate, meticulous, nature.
